Aaliyah Dana Haughton was born in January 16, 1979 in New York. However, she spends most of his childhood in another large U.S. city: Detroit, Michigan. From an early age, she caught the virus from the song: singing competitions, shows and auditions are occurring at a rapid pace.


His passion for singing and dancing does not leave indifferent family already heavily involved in show biz, especially her uncle Barry Hankerson and talent agent.
