At Sotheby's a real tiara in emeralds and diamonds estimated ten million dollars.  An emerald and diamond tiara, estimated ten million dollars will be auctioned by Sotheby's on 17 May.


This is a real gem, created in 1897 by order of Count Guido Henckel von Count, the first Prince von Donnersmarck, as a gift to his second wife, Princess Katharina.

The tiara is equipped with eleven rare Colombian emeralds, topped by nine points to pink diamonds, over a frame of gold and silver and is the most valuable piece of real jewelry most important auction organized by the auction house over the past thirty years.
